The Eureka AA bags fills from the top of the bag, or the hose in the bag is at the very top, as opposed to other which have the hole at the top. The top-fill feature will ensure you throw away a 100% completely full bag out. Average home uses 12 bags a year, or once a month. For homes with breathing issues or allergies, Electrolux has designed this to bag to seal itself shut, before replacing the bag. Simply move the cardboard tab over the opening of the bag, and THEN remove the bag from the vacuum
